Hello, my wonderful newsletter audience. Today, I'm here to vex. Yes, to vex. This post has a religious.. Factor to it, but it's for everybody.🌚❤️

.. Because what kind of rubbish talk did I just hear?

So today, I went out to buy groceries (not garri, you this mumu😭) and on my way back home, I decided to give myself a little baby girl treatment (calm down, I'll explain how I got the money later.) I sha went to one new restaurant, and while I was waiting, a tall fountain of dark chocolate walked in. With expensive perfume and all that, fast fast, I adjusted my makeup and sat well, manifesting all kinds of things in my head.

It was like magic in my eyes when the man noticed me and asked if he could sit beside me. I first did my eye somehow because I'm a big girl but I told him to sit, duh.

We sha started talking o, his name is Hussain, he's a tech bro, he's single… I don dey digress.

He mentioned how his faith isn't that.. Good, and how he's working on himself, and that's good for him, of course. That's not what is making me vex, no. When I'm not a winsh.

The issue now, is that we were discussing the concept of marriage because he's working on a project and it involves a survey and all that.. And that topic was going well until I asked him what he thinks about marrying more than one wife and all that… (not that I was asking for personal purposes)

And that was where I vexed. Had it been this guy had just said something along the lines of “oh, I think it's cool as long as you're able to take care of them,” I wouldn't have really vex.. But his response was “yeah, definitely. Don't you know it's Sunnah?” And this guy was completely serious.

Now, this is where vex enter it. The same guy that doesn't wake up for fajr, ordered pork, and “my spirit animal is a dog” is suddenly so concerned about Sunnah? Wrap it up, nigga. The infuriating part was when I tried to explain the concept to him, and this guy said “okay now, you're making it about feminism.” A for audacity?😭

I want to believe I'm not just vexing because of the things I already manifested, or what do you guys think? Personally, I think that people need to fix up and get educated cause ah! But just to be sure I'm not the one vexing unnecessary, let me know what you think in the comments section.
